Sarah Parsons

Sarah joined the Ortho Dynamics team in October 2021. She has worked in orthotics since graduating in 2006. She graduated from George Brown College (GBC) in Toronto Ontario, where she completed both the Orthotics/Prosthetic Technician and Clinical methods in Orthotics and Prosthetics programs with honors and distinction. She began her career in Kingston, Ontario at a private clinic servicing orthotic needs for both in-patient and out-patients of the local hospitals and long-term care facilities. In 2011, she volunteered abroad in Sri Lanka to help establish orthotic departments in local hospitals. In 2014, she moved to Montreal Quebec where she worked at a private clinic fitting wide variety of custom and off-the-shelf orthotic devices. Then in 2018 she began working at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Hospital with patients including oncology, geriatrics pediatrics, long-term care and acute care. She has also been volunteering with GBC and Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC) as an examiner for the past decade.
Sarah has a variety of experience and knowledge in orthotics and provides new and diverse perspectives to the team at Ortho Dynamics. She is passionate about providing orthotic care and helping her patients improve their functional needs.
Sarah keeps herself busy with two young children, running, working out, hiking and traveling. When she can find extra time, she also enjoys photography and sewing.
